Had lunch in Meatpacking this past weekend and decided to take one more visit to the Leo Kesting Gallery to snap some flicks of Love Me’s Love Me Neon peice. C’mon, who doesn’t love a neon sign!?!

Back at the Leo Kesting Gallery and this time I’m featuring wooden wall installations. Art by Gaia and Chris Stain…
1985 by Chris Stain – Mixed Media on wood.

1985 was a good year
Spraypaint on Wood – the artist Gaia, came into the gallery and spraypainted this installation on site just for Leo Kesting.
The Leo Kestling Gallery has so many vivid attention grabbing peices that I chose to give each it’s own post. First up to bat, is the obviously attention grabber – a collection of Works by Dick Chicken. Yea you read right, the artist’s name is Dick Chicken. For me his work was love at first sight as it mirrored a Keith Haring style. Peep the pics…

Surrounded by so many “dicks” makes me feel like I’m gettin run train on by a group of college football players…

Dick Chicken’s work is a definite homage to Keith Haring’s work, but at the same time keeping his style signature. His work is of the many featured in a collection of contemporary street art at the Leo Kestling Gallery. More to come!
