With my partner in crime Kit Katt in the L.E.S. we had to snap pics of this mural spray painted on the store front gate. I fell in love with this mural that its even on my phone and bbm pic! The expression on the girl’s face is so sincere, and how her hair blends into the chaos of graffiti – is absolutely beautiful.

LES Love Me
Out in the LES with my girl Bee, we ran into my favorite street artist’s LOVE ME Poster. It was perfect timing, as lately I have had to reevaluate “love” in my life. In a relationship communication is so hard that sometimes I wish it could just be as simple as this sign. All anyone ever wants is to be loved, but I guess we all have different ways of showing it.

Asphalt Tattoo_Paula Meijerink003
Street art in DUMBO Brooklyn has been taken literally. The public artwork is titled Asphalt Tattoo (pictured), and it was created by Paula Meijerink, a Boston-based artist and designer who teaches at Harvard and has a thing for asphalt. Paula’s creaton of a dragon tattoo egraved into the street is filled with broken glas bottles. It’s all fun and games until someone pop’s a tire. The artwork is meant to display for a year…lets see how long that lasts before a lawsuit**fingers crossed**
